Sabah - US aircraft engine manufacturer Pratt&Whitney and Türkiye’s Kale Group have established a joint-venture to produce F-35 fighter jet parts in Türkiye. Pratt&Whitney, a subsidiary of the defense firm United Technologies, has announced the establishment of the company, of which 51 percent of the shares will belong to the Kale Group. The partners will produce parts for the F135 engine of the next generation fighter project, the F-35. The production line may be extended to include parts for other Pratt&Whitney engines such as F100, F119 and F117 in the future, according to the statement.
