Hurriyet - Türkiye’s leading telecommunications provider Turk Telekom has released its consolidated investment reports and employment figures for the first half of the year. The company invested TRY 520 million in its infrastructure, and bolstered its workforce with 3,500 new employees. “We have increased our income by 2 percent in the first half of 2010, while improving the Earnings Before Interest, Tax and Depreciation (EBITD) margin”, said Paul Doany, CEO of Turk Telekom. He added that Avea, their partner in mobile communication services, also doubled its EBITD margin on a quarter-on-quarter basis.
