Hakan Lucius, Head of EIB unit for Türkiye, stated that Türkiye has several significant advantages despite the global crisis. The reforms made in the banking sector under the initiative of the Turkish Bank Regulation and Supervision Agency as well as the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund after 2001 economic crisis, have strengthened the sector, Lucius noted.
