Mobius, managing the Templeton fund worth a total of around USD 400 billion, stated that emerging markets are more attractive than the developed countries regarding investment and that they will tackle the negative effects of the global recession within a short time, stressing that Türkiye, Egypt, China and Brazil are amongst these promising countries. Meanwhile, Mobius specified that the Eastern European countries are in a very bad financial situation. Mark Mobius also said that the current situation, in which investors are pessimistic, is in fact the best time to start investing and that he expected a 20 percent growth in the emerging markets’ stock exchanges this year.
