RWE: Türkiye is the cornerstone of our strategic plans

Posta - German energy producer and electric utility company RWE has described Türkiye as a cornerstone of its strategic growth plans. According to the company’s Executive Chairman in Türkiye, Andreas Radmaher, Türkiye’s status as an energy bridge and growing energy market makes the country an ideal long-term investment location for RWE.

“RWE is interested in electricity production and distribution in Türkiye,” explained Radmacher in an interview with the Turkish press, hinting that the company is also eyeing next year’s electricity generation privatizations. “RWE is a member of the consortium that is building the Nabucco Gas Pipeline, in which Türkiye plays a vital role” Radmacher added, stating that the company intended to make long-term investments in Türkiye.
