Vatan - Türkiye is getting ready for an international summit focusing on economic and financial developments in the aftermath of the global financial crisis. The Istanbul Finance Summit, which will be held in Istanbul on September 28-30, 2010, will host some of the most important figures of the global financial world from North America, Europe, the Gulf region and East Asia. The summit will be held in the Besiktas campus of Bahcesehir University.
Türkiye’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to deliver the opening speech of the summit. Minister of State Ali Babacan, Minister of Finance Mehmet Simsek, Central Bank Governor Durmus Yilmaz, and Capital Markets Board (SPK) Chairman Vedat Akgiray are among other high-level speakers.
