Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş unveiled Türkiye's latest foreign trade figures on October 1. Exports crossed the threshold of USD 20.7 billion in September 2021, reaching USD 212.2 billion for the last 12 months, the highest such monthly and yearly export figures in the Republic's history.
Germany topped the list of top three export destinations for Türkiye with USD 1.695 billion, followed by the United States with USD 1.388 billion and the UK with 1.261 billion.
In September 2021, Türkiye's TRY-denominated exports covered 180 countries through over 7,500 companies.
