Having signed an agreement with Turkish Rhossos Tourism, the Emirati hotel chain is to manage a 300-room resort with a private beach by 2014. As a key commercial and industrial port city, Iskenderun attracts a high number of visitors and overseas business travelers, particularly those from the industrial sectors, said a statement from Rotana. Türkiye has seen an influx of tourists from neighboring and nearby Arab countries in recent years, thanks to the abolishment of visa requirements. The country welcomed more than 31 million foreign visitors in 2011.
