Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) is the 5th largest bottler in Coca-Cola's worldwide system in terms of sales volume. CCI's core business is producing, selling, and distributing sparkling and still beverages of The Coca-Cola Company. It employs close to 10,000 people and has operations in Türkiye, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and Tajikistan.
CCI has a total of 25 plants and offers a wide range of beverages to a consumer base of more than 380 million people. In addition to sparkling beverages, its product portfolio includes juices, water, sports and energy drinks, and iced teas. CCI operates in growth markets that are generally characterized by low per capita consumption, growing GDP, and very promising demographics.
Following the acquisition of Efes Invest in late 2005, CCI evolved from a bottling operation active only in Türkiye into a regional beverage company. While rapidly expanding its geographic reach and investments, CCI also registered uninterrupted volume growth during this period. To support this growth, CCI invested USD 1 billion over the past 10 years in Türkiye, which is still CCI's biggest market, accounting for half of CCI's total sales volume.
CCI's successful results, in line with its 2025 vision, are directly linked to the importance attached to operational excellence, business leadership, sustainability, and to the investments made so far.
CCI's IPO on Borsa Istanbul (BIST) was successfully completed in May 2006. The IPO was met with an enthusiastic response from domestic and international investors, which led to the IPO being oversubscribed eleven-fold.
Today CCI operates in ten different countries and is a pioneer in the region with its sustainable business model. CCI is committed to productivity, innovation, and continuous improvement at each stage of its business. In 2007 CCI became the first company in Türkiye to publish a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report certified by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) , and as such CCI transparently and comprehensively discloses its social, environmental, and economic impact. CCI published its 2013 report according to the latest GRI G4 standards and became the first and only company in Türkiye and the Coca-Cola system to be listed in the GC 100 index by the UN Global Compact. CCI's 3.2.1 Move! social responsibility program, which aims to develop active healthy living habits among the youth in the countries it operates, has so far reached over 115,000 youth.
CCI is also one of the most important customers of agricultural producers in Türkiye. It generates income for farmers by buying agricultural products, such as fruits and sugar, that are used as raw materials in its products.
CCI creates an added value of TRY 685 million in the agricultural sector and TRY 2.5 billion in the retail sector.
CCI also assists the growth of other businesses in different sectors. It is one of the largest customers of the cooler industry and it plays a very significant role in the development of this sector.
