The Export Credit Bank of Türkiye (Türk Eximbank) received a partial loan of EUR 250 million from the World Bank.
According to a statement released on June 16, within the scope of the Türkiye Long-Term Export Finance Guarantee Project, the World Bank agreed to extend EUR 250 million credit to Türk Eximbank.
“The partial credit guarantee will enable Türk Eximbank to raise up to EUR 500 million and will allow it to provide working capital to exporting companies,” read the statement.
With this project, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are inclined to export goods will have better access to longer-term loans.
