AA - Türkiye and Saudi Arabia are looking into ways to increase their trade volume. During his formal visit to Saudi Arabia, Nihat Ergun, Türkiye’s Industry and Trade Minister, delivered a speech in the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Ergun stated that Türkiye has tackled the global economic crisis successfully and managed to attract USD 18.8 billion of foreign direct investment in 2008 alone. "We are ready to assist Saudi investors. We will be glad to see Saudi businessmen in the Turkish market", he said.
Ergun said visa requirements between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia should be lifted to boost trade volume.
