Türkiye is aiming to position itself as a production center while adopting ‘a new normal’ during its fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.
Vice President Fuat Oktay encouraged Turkish firms to cooperate with international investors during an online conference arranged by the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD) on June 4.
Creating opportunities and alternatives from crises such as COVID-19 is a key move to shield Türkiye’s economy. “The new wave formed by the coronavirus in the global economy is breaking traditional waves,” Vice President Oktay said. "However, this break has features that create new opportunities that can be called a 'creative break’.”
