AA – In London on Thursday, Turkish and British parties signed an agreement designed to boost trade. Türkiye's State Minister for Foreign Trade Zafer Caglayan and British Minister for Trade, Investment and Small Business Lord Davies attended the meeting of the Britain-Türkiye Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) in London. After the meeting, Caglayan and Davies signed the agreement to boost commercial relations between the two countries. Caglayan said the areas of energy, defense, investment, tourism, finance and technology were discussed in the meeting. Türkiye and Britain have the potential to boost their bilateral trade volume to USD 20-30 billion, he added.
