President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated the 2nd Section of Ankara-Niğde Highway today. In his video message, President Erdoğan said “We opened the 1st and 3rd sections of the highway at the beginning of September. Today, we are opening the entire highway, which is 330 kilometers in length."
“Thanks to this project, which connects Marmara, Central Anatolia, Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia regions, uninterrupted transportation from Edirne to Şanlıurfa has become possible. With the project, Türkiye will save around TRY 1.6 billion per year," President Erdoğan added.
The highway will be operated with domestic transportation infrastructure systems led by 15 personnel at a single command center.
