Corio on track with mall investments, acquires Bursa Anatolium

Hurriyet - Dutch property and retail space developer Corio is continuing its rapid growth in the Turkish market with new acquisitions. The latest addition to the company’s portfolio is the newly opened Bursa Anatolium shopping mall, subject to a turnkey acquisition deal which Corio and Maya signed in 2007. The acquisition, worth EUR 176 million, gives Corio 100 percent of the shares in the Bursa Anatolium shopping mall in Türkiye’s fourth largest city. Bursa Anatolium comprises 84,000m2 of retail space, most of which have already been rented to stores such as IKEA, Carrefour and Leroy Merlin.
