Three Turkish 3G mobile phone contracts were tendered last year and won by operators Turkcell, Vodafone and Turk Telekom-owned Avea. Mobile phone operators are keen to get the high-speed 3G network up and running to take advantage of fast-growing demand for wireless data and voice services.
