Exports increased by 26.6% in January - November compared with the same period of the last year... According to the provisional data, in November 2007; exports grew by 30.4% and reached to 11,268 Million Dollars, and imports grew by 28.8% and reached to 16,606 Million Dollars. At the same period, foreign trade deficit raised by 25.5%, reached from 4,255 Million Dollars to 5,338 Million Dollars. In November 2007 exports coverage imports was 67.9% while it was 67% in 2006. In January-November 2007, exports grew (26.6% in 2007 compared with 2006) to 97,431 Million Dollars; imports grew (21.5% in 2007 compared with 2006) to 153,768 Million Dollars. As compared with the same period of the previous year, the foreign trade deficit was up by 13.6% reached to 56,338 Million Dollars. (TURKSTAT)
