Invest News DetailHurriyet - Türkiye's Endustriyel Pazarlama ve Yatirim A.S. (Enpay Group), which is among one of the few transformer suppliers in the world, plans to make a EUR 40 million investment in Kocaeli province of Türkiye to manufacture raw materials for transformer units. The production plant will create job opportunities for 250 people. The joint written statement issued by Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye and Enpay reported that the company plans to start manufacturing raw materials as of June, 2009. Murat Yurekten, General Manager and Deputy Board Chairman of Enpay, noted that planned annual amount of 10,000 tons will cover all imports of Türkiye and it will roughly correspond to 15 percent of the global production. Yurekten extended thanks to Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye for their support during the investment process. Alpaslan Korkmaz, President of Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye, noted that the project is completely compatible with the priority of introducing investments bringing added-value and vision to Türkiye, thus highlighting the country on a global scale.
