Speaking to the Turkish Daily News in Istanbul at the Access to Medicines, Innovation and Health Economy conference, Jeff Kemprecos noted that Türkiye already has the educational and health care system as well the human capital to become a global competitor in innovative medicines. He continued: "But what is needed next is that the directive on clinical trials should be approved – hopefully by the end of the year – and a new look should be taken at the R&D law.”
