Babacan said, "Thanks to the measures we took, Türkiye will have a very light debt burden and a stronger financial system in the post-crisis period." He added, "Türkiye did not face a financial meltdown due to the crisis. Economic measures taken and arrangements made by the government in the banking sector prevented Türkiye from experiencing a financial crisis." Babacan said they are working hard ahead of the post-crisis period, adding that they will soon announce economic targets for this period.
