Invest News DetailAA – The Turkish government is set to change the organizational structure of the country's European Union affairs agency in order to take a more effective course in accession negotiations, said the government’s spokesman. "There is an urgent need for an organizational overhaul of the Secretariat General for EU Affairs to continue the negotiations in a more effective way," Cemil Cicek told reporters following the cabinet meeting. Cicek said the overhaul was needed as the current organizational structure of the secretariat caused "serious difficulties," adding that a number of new departments will be introduced as well.
