Invest News DetailSabah – One of world’s largest electronics retailers, Best Buy, is soon to open stores in Türkiye. At the press conference he held in Istanbul, Robert A. Willet, CEO of Best Buy, said they plan to open three stores in Izmir, Ankara and Bursa by the first quarter of 2010. Willet stated that there is a fast growing market in Türkiye, which he sees as the “China of Europe”, and added, “We are considering acquiring certain local brands in Türkiye and expanding them into the other countries in which we operate.” Willet said they are in Türkiye for the long term and went on, “We are in Türkiye for the millennium and want to contribute to the Turkish economy. Türkiye will be a part of our supply chain. We aim to create added-value in this country.”
