Star - As one of the most promising real estate markets in Europe with a large number of projects attracting international attention, Türkiye has been recognized for the second year in a row as a ‘Country of Honor’ at MIPIM , the world’s biggest property fair.
Open to visitors between 11-14 March in Cannes, France, MIPIM 2014 will host over 20 developers and construction companies from Türkiye showcasing their projects to an expected audience of 52,000 visitors from 80 countries.
The Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye (ISPAT) will be present at MIPIM 2014 with President Ilker Ayci delivering a speech on the second day of the event which details Türkiye’s investment opportunities for foreign realty investors. Panels and conferences will be held to brief the participants about development projects in Türkiye.
Türkiye’s financial capital, Istanbul, is a hot topic at the event with its transformation into an international financial center and a large number of branded residential projects.
Foreign nationals acquired USD 3 billion worth of property in the country last year, up 15 percent from 2012.
