Invest News DetailMilliyet - The increase in Türkiye’s industrial production reached 10 percent in the third quarter, as September data registered 10.4 percent growth, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). The latest figures show the Industrial Production Index (IPI) reached 113.9 with a 10.4 percent rise in September in comparison with the same month of the previous year. Without taking into account seasonal effects, the IPI effectively increased by 12.9 percent when compared with the previous year. Despite the slight month-on-month loss in increase rate and a 0.4 percent drop in the index when compared with August, analysts report that the increase in production points to strong growth, surpassing the government’s forecasted 6.8 percent.
