Invest News DetailDünya - Türkiye’s industrial production grew by 3.7 percent in December over the same month of 2010, according to newly released data. While the month of November registered an 8.4 percent increase, a moderate growth rate of 2.3 was expected because of the yearly base effect. The country’s annual industrial production went up by 8.9 percent on the average. When seasonally adjusted, December’s industrial production grew by 3.8 percent year-on-year and 2.7 percent over the previous month. The highest production increase in December was seen in electric and gas utilities, with 10.3 percent year-on-year, followed by a rise of 6.7 percent in the mining and quarrying sector, and 2.7 percent in the manufacturing sector.
