Sabah - Türkiye’s automotive sector has reached another milestone in sales terms with nearly 484,000 vehicles sold in the first 7 months of 2011. Last year’s sales figure for the same period was 339,600, meaning a year-on-year increase of 42.5 percent.
Türkiye’s auto market has grown 76.2 percent in the first quarter of 2011 and 36.6 in the second. Despite the slowdown in growth rates since the beginning of the year, both the yearly and the monthly sales figures are the highest ever recorded in Türkiye’s automotive market.
