Invest News DetailMilliyet - Star - Istanbul Deniz Otobusleri A.S. (IDO), running ferry services along the coast lines of Istanbul and the Marmara Sea, will be privatized by the first half of 2011. A subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, IDO will be up for tender, beginning from January 6 to March 13. The ferry services company has been operating since 1987 and has a fleet of over 52 vessels running a total of 18 lines between 36 sea terminals. IDO’s privatization tender is expected to draw bids from both domestic and foreign companies.
