Invest News DetailAA - Germany's major automotive parts and household goods manufacturer Bosch Group in Türkiye achieved a USD 1.6 billion turnover for 2008, Hermann Butz, the group's country chief said on Wednesday. "Despite a global financial crisis, we had a USD 1.6 billion turnover and maintained our position in 2008," Butz told at a press meeting in Istanbul. Butz noted that the group invested EUR 210 million in Türkiye last year and its total exports stood at EUR 972 million, EUR 13 million lower than the 2007 figure. "We have compensated the drop in exports with the growing domestic demand and we have seen a slight increase in the number of our employees to reach 8,400 workers," Butz said.
