Dunya - Turkish pharmaceutical company Ilko is about to complete its medicine production plant, worth TRY 130 million, in Konya. Located in the Konya Organized Industrial Zone, Ilko’s plant took advantage of investment incentives offered and is expected to employ some 300 people countrywide.
Sener Giritlioglu, Ilko’s Medicine Project Coordinator, said, “In parallel with having our facility constructed in Konya, we are carrying out research and development (R&D) studies in Ankara. We have an R&D center in Hacettepe Technopolis. We will manufacture generic medicines.”
