Hybrid and electric cars are in demand on the Turkish automotive market more than ever.
According to the data provided by Automotive Distributers' Association on sales volume over the first 10 months of 2020, the number of electric cars sold reached 314, with 15,151 hybrid car models sold in Türkiye, recording respective increases of 105,2 percent and 73,9 percent in comparison to the same period of the last year.
Meanwhile, Turkish automobile and light commercial vehicle market grew by 78,1 percent, yielding sales of 588,354 units.
By the end of October last year, 8,711 hybrid cars and 153 electric cars had been sold in Türkiye.
