Invest News DetailNet foreign direct investments to Türkiye reached 16.1 billion USD in the first ten months of 2007, marking a 0.7 percent increase over the same period last year, a report by the Turkish Treasury said Wednesday. October's FDI reached $762 million, of which 59.8 percent came from EU member countries. In the January-October period 3,073 companies were established with foreign capital or through foreign partnerships. Of the 267 foreign companies that have over $500,000 in registered capital, 64 were established in the manufacturing industry, 53 in the retail sector and 48 were established in real estate leasing.
