The closing year’s resounding success has placed Türkiye in the 7th rank of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, and the 9th in the list of tourism revenues by country. The 10 percent growth rate over 2010 and 629,000 bed capacity have set even higher expectations from the new year. The country aims to attract at least 32 million foreign visitors, which are expected to spend some USD 27 billion in 2012.
