Invest News DetailDünya - Italian bus manufacturer BredaMenarinibus and its Turkish partner Karsan have opened a production line in Karsan’s Bursa facilities. According to the partnership deal signed in September 2010, Karsan will produce 75 units of BredaMenarinibus-branded vehicles for public transportation in the Italian capital. Karsan, one of the final contenders of New York City’s taxi tender, will invest EUR 25 million over the next three years for bus production in its Bursa plant. “The production for BredaMenarinibus is the first stage of our bus production business. More contracts are expected,” said Murat Selek, Karsan’s Chief Executive Officer in the opening ceremony.
