Invest News DetailHurriyet - The eight US companies taking part in the Turkish-US Business Council to be established within the “Framework for Strategic Economic and Commercial Cooperation” between the countries have been named. Doug Silliman, Deputy Chief-of-Mission at the US Embassy in Ankara said that Boeing, Sikorsky, Citigroup, Nike, UPS, Merck, Dymo-Mimio and Elle in Le Kazan would be participating in the Turkish-US Business Council on behalf of the USA. Silliman, speaking to the press in his residence in Ankara, called for increased cooperation between Turkish and US companies to have a bigger share in the USD 14 trillion US market. “We intend to increase bilateral investments and cooperation. We have the potential to realize this”, added Silliman.
