The firms, which operate in various sectors, including textiles, food, tourism, logistics, information and communications technology, or ICT, and the environment, are aiming to find new business partners among Turkish companies. The visit of the Italian delegation to Türkiye, but the cooperation is expected to continue in September with a visit by Turkish businesspeople to Italy. The main goal of the visit is to meet potential local partners and map out how small and medium sized enterprises, or SMEs, from Italy's Puglia region and Türkiye could cooperate, said Fatih Aycin, general secretary of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye.
