Turkey's passenger car and light commercial vehicle (LCV) market grew 61 percent to 772,788 units year-on-year in 2020, the Automotive Distributors' Association (ODD) released.
Accordingly, passenger car and LCV sales rose by 15.2 percent in December compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 104,293 units.
On a yearly basis, passenger car sales surged 57.6 percent in 2020 to reach 610,109 units.
Global automotive giants such as Fiat, Renault and Ford emerged as market leaders in 2020.
