Fars News Agency - Turkish and Iranian officials have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand mutual cooperation in different industrial fields, especially in the textile, automotive and energy industries.
The MoU was signed by Turkish Industry and Trade Minister Nihat Ergun and Iranian Minister of Industries and Mines Ali Akbar Mehrabian in Tehran on Tuesday night.
The agreement prioritizes cooperation in a number of fields, namely the automotive, construction, agricultural machinery, equipment, wood and paper industries.
The MoU also affirms Türkiye and Iran’s support for the private sector, international trade and their intention to make bilateral investments.
