Istiklal - Motoran AS, a motorcycle firm located in Izmir, has persuaded the Taiwanese motorcycle giant SYM to make investment. Executives of the firms who agreed on joint production have decided to initiate the investment process in the first quarter of 2009. Tufan Gorgulu, Coordinator for Sales and Marketing in Motoran AS, said “In addition to producing 3 or 4 models of SYM and supplying them for the domestic market, we will round off the European leg of the operations of SYM here in Türkiye.”
