Invest News DetailDünya - The world’s largest semiconductor producer Intel’s Turkish branch plans to launch an initiative to support young entrepreneurs in Turkish universities. Beginning in 2012, Intel will help commercialize bright ideas through providing education and funding, said Intel Türkiye’s General Manager Burak Aydin at a press event in Ankara. “Intel Türkiye is working to draw more investments to the country and collaborates with the universities to create world-changing technologies,” said Aydin. Last year, Intel assisted the establishment of R&D labs in Türkiye’s Middle East Technical University (METU) by supplying equipment. The company’s investment subsidiary Intel Capital is also active in Türkiye. The company bought stakes in two Turkish companies, Grupanya and Nokta in 2011.
