Invest News DetailHurriyet Daily News - The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MMC) chooses Türkiye as its VIP Partner Country for 2009. The project, conducted in partnership with the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aims to better promote Türkiye as a reliable business partner.The yearlong program is designed to establish sustainable peer-to-peer industry networks between American and Turkish businesses to strengthen, promote and develop bilateral trade between Turkish business, MCC members and partners. As part of a yearlong program, conferences particularly focused on renewable energy, organic food, health care and eco-friendly construction, will be held throughout next year. Depending on the discussion topics, key actors from related industries operating in New York City, along with the Turkish business community, and possibly government officials, will participate in these conferences.
